Watch Jonina work her magic with a live model in the chair. You'll learn:

@JoninaMenziesHair has spent over a decade mastering curly hair, not just cutting it, but truly understanding it, living it, and teaching others how to work with it confidently.
As the Founder of LOHY. and owner of Maiden Hair Salon, she's built her entire career around one mission: making curly hair make sense. Not just for the clients in her chair, but for the stylists who've been taught to fear it.

Jonina teaches the way she wishes she'd been taught, with patience, honesty, and zero intimidation. She breaks down the science behind curls, the techniques that actually work, and the "why" behind every decision. She doesn't gatekeep or show off. She passes on what works, plainly and practically.
She's worked with thousands of curly clients, trained countless stylists, and created the Curls Made Easy method—simple, repeatable techniques designed for real salon environments. What sets her apart isn't just technical skill, it's her genuine desire to see you succeed.

Do I need to bring anything?
Just yourself and your passion to learn! If you're bringing your own model for the afternoon session, let them know to arrive at 1pm. Otherwise, you can pre-order a mannequin head.

Perfect! This is designed for all levels. We start with foundations and build from there.

We'll be working with the LOHY. range, and you'll receive samples to take home and practice with.
How long does the day go for?
Full day of learning from the best, we want you to have the ultimate opportunity to really learn from Jonina so we have decided on a full day! 9am-5pm
Is it watch and learn?
Yes! Look N Learn for the morning session, then hands on all afternoon for you to take the spotlight!
